About Me
Looking back, it's bizarre to recall the fact that I stumbled upon industrial design at SJSU virtually by accident. As a first son to a first generation family from Belarus, I had no concept for it, even though -unbeknownst to me- I had been engaging with it from an early age. From the time I first started burying my nose in the Firefly Visual Dictionary at age 6, it dawned on me that things were intentional not only in the way they were made and in the way they worked, but also in the way they looked. Amplified by my dad's keen intuition as an engineer and my mother's sensitivity and kindness, that relationship with the designed world only evolved with time, leading me through an academic career full of personal growth and inspiring people, empowering me with tools to hopefully shape the world for the better.
