About Me
I first heard about the animation major from my high school teacher, an SJSU alumnus, who shared her experience in the program and inspired me to explore it further. Once I started taking animation classes, I realized it was something I really enjoyed. During my time in the animation program at SJSU, one experience that stuck with me was learning the principles of 2D animation. Studying the fundamentals showed me how much effort goes into even the smallest moments in animation and gave me a real sense of purpose. Of everything I have learned, I am especially drawn to rough animation, where the emotion and motion of a character first come to life. I can picture myself building a career where I get to tell stories, connect with audiences, and bring ideas to life through animation.
