About Me
Before I knew how to read and write, I was drawing storybooks and presenting family members with them. I could inherently acknowledge the value of storytelling, and realized how special it was to be able to present stories visually through the work of my own hands. In one of my first classes at SJSU, the professor asked each of us to define graphic design in our own terms. He told us, "Design is Everything." I couldn't understand this then, but I see it now. Everywhere I go, everything I see, it all comes back to design. The BFA program not only pushed me out of my comfort zone in an educational sense, but continued to push further. It's taught me to persevere, that creativity has no bounds, and how inspiring it is to surround yourself with people who are filled with passion.
