About Me
I discovered Industrial Design in high school, drawn to the intersection of engineering and art. My teacher, Mr. Johnson, introduced me to the laser cutter, which seized my interest. Its beam slicing plywood with computer-guided precision fueled my desire to create functional yet striking objects. In Ms. Drummond's art class, I explored painting, sculpture, and mixed media. I merged these techniques with engineering, using the laser cutter for stencils and designing patterns that transformed skateboards into art. That turning point showed me I could unite problem-solving with creative freedom. This synergy defines my practice of Industrial Design, blending aesthetics and function.
