Kuragina is a short vignette about a girl who is being set up to marry an unknown man. Initially unsure, she slowly grows excited about the prospect of love for herself. The story is loosely based on a short passage from War and Peace, concerning a potential engagement to a man named Kuragin. Following the Russian naming convention, if they were to marry our nervous heroine would become Kuragina!
