This is a storyboarding sample from a slightly longer work about an alien on the run from Area 51, and a roller skater who saves them from the cops. I wanted to focus on boarding action with a dynamic camera, and this little chase sequence was a fun way for me to do that.
This is a short storyboard animatic that takes place in the after hours of a department store, where a custodian finds a suspicious bat. I wanted to explore horror and suspense, with a little bit of action. I also wanted to consider the ways that I could use sound as an element of transition, and tie that into how I visually planned out the piece.
