About Me
I am a designer and mother based in San Jose, California. I developed an interest in graphic design through my role as an editor of my high school's literary magazine, and I pursued a BFA in Visual Media at Rochester Institute of Technology, practicing my loves of design, print, and photography. After over a decade working as a graphic and web designer, I joined the MDes program at SJSU to refresh my skills and explore the breadth of design career options‚ but I got so much more than that. My research explores the intersections of design pedagogy, climate resilience, and co-design, topics close to my heart that will guide my professional journey. My experience here has added a depth and purpose to my work that makes me excited for all that I have yet to create.
