About Me
I've always been drawn to animation, from the time I would watch cartoons and animated films as a kid, ranging from Tom and Jerry to Disney. When I first considered pursuing animation as a career, a cousin of mine who attended San Jose State told me about the Animation/Illustration program and its highly regarded reputation and so I was determined to get into this program. While I had my fair share of hardships and imposter syndrome, my love for animation is still strong, and sometimes I just need to step back and realize how far I've come from the beginning of my journey. Overall, the experiences that I take to heart in my education are the connections that I make with my teachers and peers, as animation is a group effort, and we all encourage/learn from each other.
