About Me
I initially joined the Animation/Illustration program because I was drawn to the word: Illustration. I had little interest in animating and only wanted to get my fundamentals down so I could improve at drawing comics and be able to tell stories as effectively as possible. But as I began learning how to animate and consumed more animation-related media, I started to understand just how powerful of a medium it was. Through animation, I didn't have to imply movements using action lines and words like I would in the comic format. I could just turn to the little unpaid actors on my screen and tell them: Do it!
